Killbillies open season with tournament record of 1-2 in Prince George

The Fort St. John Killbillies attended their first tournament of the season last weekend in Prince George. They played three games and ended with a win and two losses.

The squad made the trip with a full bench of 14 players which is a rare occurrence. Of those 14, three were playing in their first ever games.

Jenna Hildebrand, AKA Jennacide of the Killbillies said the new girls were great on the floor, especially 347 Sparky who won the unsung hero award for the team. She also gave props to the team as a whole as they delivered hard hits and fast jams.

Up next the Killbillies will be taking part in their home opener as they host the Gold Pain City Girls from Quesnel on April 25.
