Canadian Wheelchair Basketball team finishes at 3-2 in Americas Challenge

The men’s Canadian National Wheelchair Basketball Team along with Bo Hedges wrapped up the Americas Challenge in Toronto on Thursday. The team took part in five games and compiled a record of 3-2.

In their final game of the tournament the team took on the United States but wound up losing 67-54.

The tournament gave those in attendance a chance to watch some of the countries that will be competing at the 2015 Parapan American Game in Toronto in August.

The Canadians are the defending Paralympic gold medallists and will need a top two finish at the August tournament to qualify for the 2016 Paralympics in Brazil.
