Snowfall warning continues in the B.C. Peace; warning issued for Grande Prairie

Snowfall warning in effect for:

B.C. North Peace River
B.C. South Peace River
Snowfall, with total amounts of 10 to 15 cm continues.

Periods of snow will bring an additional 2 to 4 cm of snow before easing near noon.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall Warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.

Environment Canada meteorologists will update alerts as required. Please monitor local media or Weatheradio. Email reports of severe weather to [email protected] or tweet with the hashtag #

M.D. of Greenview near DeBolt
M.D. of Greenview near Little Smoky
M.D. of Greenview near O’Brien Prov. Park and Big Mtn Creek
M.D. of Greenview near Sturgeon Lake
M.D. of Greenview near Valleyview and New Fish Creek
M.D. of Greenview near Wapiti and Shuttler Flats Rec. Area
Snowfall, with total amounts of about 10 cm is expected.

Snow is expected today and will end overnight.
