The Fort St. John Senior Flyers and Spirit River Rangers will meet tonight in game four of their first round North Peace Hockey League playoff series. The Flyers trail in the best of seven at 2-1, and will need a win tonight at the North Peace Arena to avoid going down 3-1 heading back to Spirit River for game five on Thursday.

Last time out the Flyers had a rough ride on Saturday night as they lost 7-2.

Regardless of what happens over the next two games for the Flyers, the team will be a busy bunch over the coming days. They’ll play in games four and five today and Thursday, and that will be followed by two games against Whitehorse this weekend in the AA playdowns on Saturday and Sunday. A game would be added to their schedule on Friday against Spirit River should Fort St. John win one of the next two games in the series.

Tonight’s game gets underway at 8:30.
