The Fort St. John Ross H. MacLean Flyers welcomed the Dawson Creek Canucks to Fort St. John yesterday afternoon, and it wasn’t pretty for the visitors. The Flyers scored a staggering nine goals in the opening 20 minutes and put things in cruise control the rest of the way as they won 14-1.

After the majority of their damage was done after the first period, the Flyers expanded on their lead. Dawson Creek made things 9-1 with just under six minutes left in the second, but Fort St. John scored four times in the final 5:25 of the frame.

The Flyers added a final tally mid way through the third.

Scoring for the Flyers was Nathan Brownlee (5), Tyler Musgrove (2), Kurtis Lee (2), Devan Minard (2), Connor Brown, John Herrington, and Quinn Disher.
