The Fort St. John Ross H. MacLean Flyers were on the ice last night for a rare Thursday night game in Peace River against the Colts. It was a close game on the scoreboard as the Flyers dropped the game by a score of 5-4.

The peewee squad fell behind in the opening 20 minutes as they trailed 2-0 but they closed the gap to 2-1. Peace River restored their two goal lead at 3-1 before the frame came to a close.

Despite the deficit the Flyers kept playing hard and wound up tying the game before the second period was five minutes old. Peace River took the lead again with 2:17 left, however Fort St. John again tied the game with just 23 seconds remaining.

In the third period Peace River netted the game winning goal late with 4:28 left in regulation.

Scoring for the Flyers were Tyler Musgrove (2), Brandon Modde, and Zachary Peters.
