The Fort St. John Huskies will continue their efforts to get ready for the post-season tonight with two games on home ice. Tonight the team will take on the Beaverlodge Blades, and tomorrow evening the Huskies will welcome the Dawson Creek Junior Canucks.

The Huskies have the unfortunate distinction of being the only team to lose to Beaverlodge this season, but since that defeat the Huskies have played much better hockey and have gotten their share of retribution against the Blades in other games.

Fort St. John comes into the weekend one point behind Dawson Creek in the NWJHL standings, and the Canucks also have a game in hand so Saturday’s tilt will be pivotal in determining home ice advantage for their upcoming first round playoff match up.

Both games this weekend will begin at 8 p.m. at the North Peace Arena.
