Police say the woman was walking east on 99 Avenue in the cross walk at the lights on 102 Street when she was struck by a vehicle turning left from 99 Avenue onto 102 Street.
The driver of the vehicle, a 52-year-old Beaverlodge woman, is being charged with “fail to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk” under the Traffic Safety Act which carries a $575.00 fine.
