The Fort St. John Knights of Columbus Flyers welcomed the Dawson Creek Canucks to the Energetic City on Saturday. Unfortunately for the Flyers they were unable to come away with two points in the standings as they fell 4-2.

Fort St. John opened the scoring with 8:22 left in the first, however Dawson Creek responded right away and tied the game just over a minute later. The score held going into the second period.

Dawson Creek took the lead in the second period, and added another two goals in the third for a 4-1 lead. The Flyers notched a late tally with 5:26 left in regulation to round out the scoring at 4-2.

Scoring in the game were Kolton Leslie, and Connor Kindrat.

Next for the Flyers is a rematch against Dawson Creek on January 30.
