Single winning ticket sold in Alberta for $50 million Lotto Max jackpot

TORONTO — There is one winning ticket for the $50-million jackpot in Friday night’s Lotto Max draw, and it was purchased somewhere in Alberta.

Two of the 13 MaxMillions prizes of $1-million each were also won.

One of those winning tickets was sold in Newfoundland and Labrador, and the other $1-million prize will be shared by one ticketholder in Ontario and another in British Columbia.

The jackpot for next Friday’s Lotto Max draw will be approximately $21-million.
