There was no scoring in the first period, but the Huskies were badly outshot 15-4 in the frame. In the second period the Huskies opened the scoring as Jerome Thorne found the back of the net.

Unfortunately for the Huskies that was the extent of the positives on the evening. The team went on to give up four goals in the period, and were badly outshot again 18-6.

The third period was more of the same. The Flyers tacked on two more goals and had a significant advantage in shots at 13-4, making the total for the game 46-14.

Assists on the Thorne goal went to John Apsassin and Shane Rutherford.

The Huskies will look to get the sour taste out of their mouths tonight at home against the Sexsmith Vipers at 8:00. The loss to the Flyers drops the Huskies record to 3-6.
