It will include the construction of 160 kilometers of pipeline which will parallel Pembina’s Blueberry pipeline system northwest of Taylor to the Highway/Blair Creek area.
With a base capacity of up to 75 thousand barrels a day, the pipeline will transport condensate and natural gas liquids to various producers in the Montney resource play.
A company spokesman says with significant exploration in that area, its customers are looking for a solution for their liquids production.
Subject to regulatory and environmental approval, the expansion will be brought on-stream sometime between the second and fourth quarters of 2017.
