Fort St. John Air Show to return next July

The hope is get help to cover the cost of such things as securing planes and fuel and providing on-site first responders at the North Peace Regional Airport.  The show in 2015 will be a one day afternoon show with the organization planning to have a much larger show in 2017 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Alaska Highway.

The show will include a performance by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and other military aircraft and civilian planes.  More specific details about performers will be released in the coming months.

Hamre has been told by city council that by 2017, it is hoped the facility will have its own Fire Department…which will, “Make it a lot easier on all of us.”
