The event, taking place August 8 – 17, will include live performances and opportunities for you to participate in a variety of workshops. The locations are still being finalized and will be made available on the Facebook page ‘FoJo 2014’ as they are confirmed.
Stage North is also hosting a 48 hour garage sale as they fundraise for the festival, July 18 – 20, beginning at 4:30 p.m. in the Terra Energy parking lot, located on 100 Avenue.
In addition to the garage sale, Stage North has managed to allocate funds for new stage equipment, thanks to the support of a B.C. Creative Spaces grant received this year.
The performing arts centre is now in the process of purchasing and installing new light and sound equipment and says they look forward to offering “a unique theatre experience to the public in the coming season.”
“From swashbuckling heroes to proper English lords and ladies, and everything between, we will have something for everyone in the 2014 – 15 season,” says Executive Director, Karma Pratt.
The FoJo 2014 festival and 48 hour garage sale is in conjunction with Spectacular Chair Factory
