Pay It Forward Day is on its way to Fort St. John

Pay It Forward Day is a global movement, making its way to our community in 2009 thanks to the Fort St. John Association for Community, who says they were inspired to “perform our own acts of kindness within this great community of Fort St. John”.

“The biggest reward is seeing how the people of this community have opened their minds and hearts to people with developmental disabilities,” the association goes on to say. “When people go out of their way to smile, say hello or take the time to get to know those who are a bit different or give the opportunity of employment to someone with a disability, we realize how fortunate we are to be part of this community.”

The association is asking for everyone to participate in this heart warming cause and also “share stories and inspire others to not only extend kindness on the Annual Pay It Forward Day, but to extend kindness to others everyday.”

We encourage you to report acts of kindness on June 13 to our radio station at 250 787 2222, motivating others to ‘Pay It Forward’.
