Government of Canada overhauls temporary foreign worker program

Employment Minister, Jason Kenney, and Immigration Minister, Chris Alexander will unveil the proposed changes to the controversial temporary foreign worker program, which caused much of the coal mine industry controversy in the South Peace.

A poll commissioned by the government last month suggested that most people support the program as long as it doesn’t prevent Canadians from finding work.
