The keynote speaker, Vice President of Engineering for Vancouver Airport Authority, Don Ehrenholz will explain how YVR creates jobs and helps local business grow and connect to global destinations.
In 2013, YVR saw 17,970,000 people enter the airport, facilitating more than 296,000 take-offs and landings, and handling 228,300 tonnes of cargo.
YVR is the second busiest airport in Canada , holding 23,000 employees, posing as a key economic generator for British Columbia. The chamber says Ehrenholz’s presentation will help you plan for the future, as the procedures of the airport inevitably impacts local business in some way.
Enhrenholz joined the Airport Authority in 1994 and oversees long-term planning of YVR’s infrastructure, including capital program implementation and facility maintenance.
The keynote speech is being held Tuesday June 24, from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Quality Inn Northern Grand, located at 9830 100th Avenue.
