The Centre is already known around the community as a support centre for parents in crisis and unable to meet the needs of their children, whether it is a need for diapers, formula or clothing.
“Crisis happens anytime,” Executive Director of the North Peace Pregnancy Centre, Lise Klafsen said.
There will be hamburgers, hotdogs and soda at the barbeque and those attending are asked to make any donation they fell appropriate, no matter how small or large.
“You grab a hot dog and a pop, and you decide how much that’s worth to you,” added Klafsen.
The event is being held outside the Save On Foods parking lot between 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
