Province announces road upgrades in the South Peace

Now considered a major access road for the natural gas industry, Braden Road is also used as a major connector route, for traffic in this area—between Highway 97 South, and the Alaska Highway, at a point northwest of Farmington and southeast of Taylor.

The other upgrades will include seal-coating of four kilometers of Vopicka road, in the Farmington area, construction and seal-coating on Adams Road south of Dawson Creek and the paving of a Tate Creek Road intersection in the Tom’s Lake area, southeast of Dawson Creek.

All four projects are expected to start in mid-June and are expected to be completed by mid-September 2014.
