Fort St. John Coordinator Janet Turner says the annual event is a big fundraiser.
The idea is that businesses purchase bunches of daffodils to either sell or, in the cases, give away.
Turner says some of daffodils will be given out to seniors in the community as a gesture of thanks or simply to brighten up their day.
Money raised will support programs for those diagnosed with cancer, in remission, or to families touched by the disease.
