The Horse Park also has a Facebook page, which currently has just under 700 members.The Horse Park property is owned by Terry McLeod.
McLeod went ahead with some preliminary rodeo ground building plans, which has substantial support from the community, but not the Agricultural Land Commission.
The ALC issued McLeod a stop-work order for his plans to develop a rodeo on his 70-hectare property, and consider his development plans non-farm use.
Laboucane says the petition will remain for the public to sign until April 15th.

She says the next step is to find an MLA willing to present the petition on the floor of the legislature.
Peace River North, MLA Pat Pimm repeatedly advocated for the project prior to being appointed Agriculture Minister, but ran into some controversy and spurred calls from the NDP asking for his resignation and critics also saying he committed an ethical blunder.
Laboucane, says the organizers of the petition are yet to approach Pimm, and she adds that if he won’t present the petition, they will have to wait and approach another MLA.
