Pink Shirt Day Arrives Tomorrow is Fort. St. John

Pink shirt day was started after a male Nova Scotia student was bullied after wearing a pink t-shirt on the first day of school.

This resulted in two teenage boys to purchase and distribute 50 pink shirts to form an anti-bullying protest.

Pink shirt day is a nationally recognized day to show support for the fight against bullying.

Mayor, Lori Ackerman says she has already sent out a memo to council in regards to council wearing pink shirts Wednesday.
