Horst takes 11th in first Crashed Ice event of the season, first in team competition

Horst started off well in his first race. Needing to finish in the top two in order to keep advancing, Horst finished in first place in the round of 64 and in the round of 32.

That was as far as Horst would get over the weekend. His next event was the quarter finals where he finished in fourth place in heat number three.

The result means that Horst takes away 224 points to go along with his 11th place finish.

Horst also took part in the team competition with his team “Living The Dream” with fellow Canadians Scott Croxall, and Kyle Croxall. Living The Dream finished first in the team competition and takes away 1000 points heading into the next event in St. Paul, Minnesota.
