Final day of advance voting today in Area D byelection

Then tomorrow eleven polling stations scattered throughout the southeast area of the District will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Leonard Hiebert of Tomslake and Bud Powell of Arras, are in a two candidate race, to fill the vacancy, which followed last year’s resignation of Wayne Hiebert, who won the seat in a three candidate race in 2011. 

There is no need to pre-register, but all voters must be…Canadian citizens…18 years of age, or older by tomorrow…and not disqualified by law from voting. Prior to tomorrow, they must also be…residents of BC, for at least six months…and a resident of…or registered owner of real property in Electoral D for at least 30 days.
