Friday, February 7

Events for Friday include:

  •         Free hot chocolate and a bon fire starting at 3:00pm
  •          Opening ceremonies at 3:30pm
  •          Council Slide-Off at 3:45pm
  •          Professional single block carving from 4:00pm – 6:00pm
  •          Ladies bonspiel tournament starting at 6:00pm
  •          Crystal and Sapphire Cup pond hockey from 6:00pm – 9:00pm
  •          “Laugh Your Ice Off” comedy show at 8:00pm
  •        Winter Photo Scavenger Hunt – All Day
  •        Ice Slides – All Day

Doin’s at the Lake – The Crystal Cup and Peace Country Rentals present, live music and more at Doin’s at the Lake! Hosted by Mr. Mikes Steakhouse Casual, on Friday, February 7th starting at 7:00pm come enjoy open mic night featureing the Frozen Jonz and many more! No cover charge! On Saturday, February 8th you can attend the Crystal Cup Social Night starting at 7pm! There’s no cover charge for this one either and there will be door prizes and a silent auction!

Saturday, February 8

High on Ice Winter Festival Events for Saturday include:

  •          Over the Line Tournament starting at 9:00am
  •          Mayor’s Challenge from 9:00am – 4:00pm
  •          Community ice carving from 9:00am – 4:00pm
  •          Professional ice carving from 9:00am – 6:00pm
  •          Crystal and Sapphire Cup pond hockey from 10:00am – 8:00pm
  •          An information booth open from 11:00am – 2:00pm
  •          Horse drawn sleigh rides running 11:00am – 3:00pm (Cancelled)
  •          Toboggan races from 11:00am – 3:00pm (Cancelled)
  •          Rogers Old Timers hockey tournament from 12:00pm –  10:00pm
  •          Funmobile from 12:00pm – 5:00pm
  •          Children’s activities from 1:00pm – 4:00pm
  •          “Laugh Your Ice Off” comedy show at 8:00pm

14th Annual Chocolate Festival – A live auction for the beautiful baked goods begins around 6:30 and while enjoying the tasting treats, both adults and kids with adult supervision, can place bids at their respective silent auction tables. There is something for everyone at this amazing event. Proceeds from the Chocolate Festival go to the support of children’s arts programming in the form of an expanded free Kids’ Art Camp during the summer, and to support the arts in many forms. Rik Leaf – Master Storyteller – For one night only Rik Leaf – Master Storyteller, will be at the North Peace Cultural Center. The show begins at 7:00pm and tickets will be $20 for Adults and $12 for Seniors and Youth. For more information please contact the Cultural Center box office at 250-785-1992.
