Minister Pimm to undergo colon cancer surgery today

He will undergo surgery for colon cancer today in Grande Prairie and has said he expects it will keep him on his back, for “a short time”.

He’s confirmed that his hospital stay is not likely to run past the end of this week, and earlier described his cancer diagnosis as “a curve ball.”

The former Fort St. John city councillor won re-election to legislature last spring, and was subsequently named Agriculture Minister, by Premier Christy Clark.
