Meaope Transition House receives grant from Devon Canada

Anyone 19 years old or older going through violence or abuse can access the program free of charge.

Devon’s Safe Homes grant program supports innovative project that help people suffering from domestic abuse or homelessness.

“Safety is a key focus for Devon, and just as we believe that every individual deserves a safe place to work, every individual also deserves a safe place to go home to,” says Nadine Barber, Director of Public Affairs at DevonCanada. “This grant is meant to help community organizations provide that safe place.”

$70,000 was distributed to 11 non-profit organizations throughout Western Canada, although the specific allocations have not been released.
