Provincial and national gas prices fall further below Fort St. John

That’s 4.5 cents higher than the provincial average and nearly 10.5 cents higher than the national average of a $1.231.

According to bcgasprices.com, it is also 20 cents a litre higher than the low end price in the province at the Superstore and Costco outlets in Prince George, and it is 31 cents higher than the low end price in Alberta at five Edmonton area Costco outlets.

However, it’s still much cheaper to travel in the U.S., where prices have fallen 14 cents a gallon in the first two weeks of autumn, and the national average is now $3.38. That works out to 90.7 cents a litre, or about 43 cents less than the local common price.
