Dinner by candlelight to promote energy conservation

Peace River North MLA Pat Pimm thanks the restaurants for participating, adding that it’s only appropriate in the Energetic City.

“FortSt. John is B.C.’s energy capital, and here, more than anywhere else, we know the importance of using power wisely,” he argues. “Increasing energy efficiency is easy to do, and the Candlelight Conservation Dinner is a nice way to remind people to conserve energy.”

More than 75 restaurants are participating this year in 11 B.C. communities. Each will also offer an exclusive discount or special offer for the night.
