“I want to listen and to learn about the issues facing British Columbia’s economic powerhouse,” said Brooks, “Plus, being a long-time northern B.C. resident myself, I want to discuss my vision for the growth and development of our province’s north.”
Conservative South Peace MLA candidate Kurt Peats has thrown his support behind Brooks, arguing he has many of the same ideas for the region.
“Dan Brooks is articulating the same things which are important to me,” says Peats. “Those are investments in the interior and north for the people who generate and contribute to the well-being of the B.C. economy. As a whole, the economy of B.C. needs to be strong; the north and rural B.C. delivers much of that strength.”
The meet and greet will take place in the meeting room at the North Peace Leisure Pool at 7 p.m.
