It leaves the ten month calendar year total at $163 million, which is about $24 million more than the full twelve month total last year. However, in the last five months the bonus bid total has been less than $45 million, and nearly half of that came in one $20.5 million dollar sale in August.

All 22 of the parcels offered this month were purchased, but the per-hectare price was the lowest of the 10 monthly sales this year at just $410. That’s less than 12 per cent of this year’s monthly sale high of $3,550, which occurred in March, when just 19 of 25 parcels were purchased for nearly $42 million.

The next monthly sale is scheduled for November 13th.
