North West Junior Hockey League recap for October 4

Fort St. John kept their winning streak in tact as they moved to 4-0 with a win over Sexsmith. The Huskies took the game by a final of 7-3 as Lien Miller-Jeannotte had a four point night, and Brighton Campbell had a hat trick.

Grande Prairie also remained undefeated as they beat the North Peace Navigators 9-6. Ryan Trudeau had a big game for the Kings with four goals and an assist.

Slave Lake meanwhile is still looking for their first win of the season. They fell to 0-3 last night after the Fairview Flyers got the better of them 7-4. Tanner Bjorklund had a goal and three helpers for the Flyers.

Three games make up tonight’s slate of games once again. Beaverlodge is in Dawson Creek, Slave Lake once again hosts Fairview, and at the North Peace Arena Fort St. John faces a stiff test as they square off against the Grande Prairie JDA Kings at 8 p.m.
