Another bear sighting in Fort St. John

Conservation attended however the bear wandered towards the highway and was not seen again.

Fort St John RCMP want to remind the public that wild animals including bears are not uncommon within the city limits and to never approach them. Should you encounter a bear, remember to remain calm and back away slowly.

Any bear sightings can be reported to either the RCMP or Conservation and will be responded to promptly.
