Zombie virus briefly plagues Fort St. John

People young and old came covered in red paint, impressive fake wounds, and some interesting character choices with both zombies and “survivors” taking part. There were several undead families, with children and teens making up the majority of the pack.

The group stumbled slowly from their meeting point at Centennial Park, where the non-perishable food donations were collected in a hearse, to Totem Mall. Once there, several members of the crowd broke out into a flash mob choreographed dance to Michael’s Jackson’s Thriller.

The risen have now retired to the Aurora Cinema, where ParaNorman and the remake of The Evil Dead are being show to cap off the “horrific” afternoon.
