Warm summer like weather to end this weekend

The ridge of high pressure that produced a week of sunny dry weather and several temperature records is forecast to break down.

As the ridge collapses on Sunday, very moist and unstable air will surge northward. With rain being forecast for part of Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.  Temperatures still won’t be that cold sitting in the high teens for much of the week.

This past Thursday, both Fort St. John and Dawson Creek set record temperatures.
