Over 200 millimetres of precipitation this summer in Fort St. John

That’s actually better than the norm for all 92 days of June-July and August, which is 211.5 millimetres. That total this year was unofficially 265.5.

Now, however, local farmers and ranchers are focused on a month of harvest operations and looking for less precipitation. One would assume they’re not necessarily hoping for it to be as dry as last September, when the area received only 2.6 millimetres.
