The team has two additional sessions on October 11 at 8, and October 16 at 8:15 before they take to the ice for a series of preseason games against Fort Nelson. The Yeti will play their inaugural two games at North Peace Arena against the Flyers on October 18 and 19, both are 8:30 start times.
Following the exhibition tune-up, the Flyers will take to the ice two more times before opening the season in Grande Prairie on October 26 as the squad will be on the ice October 21 and 23 at 8:15 p.m.
