No conclusive evidence of attempted abduction at Prairie Mall

The subsequent investigation has led police to suspect that a female was approached by two males, but say that at this time they don’t have conclusive evidence that it was an attempted abduction.

“At the present time, police do not believe that people should be concerned for their safety when at the Prairie Mall,” writes Corporal Roy Kennedy in a release. “RCMP do encourage that people always be aware of their surroundings when out in public and if they believe that something suspicious or criminal is happening or happened to immediately call the police.”
