In turn, they’re recommending that owners engrave identifiable markings into the bars, like a B.C. Driver’s Licence, as well as permanently attaching them to the vehicle. This can be done by welding the nuts and bolts that attach the lights, or using non-conventional nuts and bolts to attach them. 

As they’re an expensive accessory, it’s also suggested to speak to an automotive dealership about how to prevent further theft of light bars.
