Free skate today at Pomeroy Sport Centre, pool closed this weekend

On the West rink, from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m., skaters that are seven and eight years old can take to the ice.  From noon until 1 p.m., those nine and ten years old will have the opportunity to skate. Skaters between the ages of 11 and 14 will have their turn from 2 until 3 p.m., and those 15 and over will be able to take to the ice from 4 until 5 p.m.

Over on the East ice, children aged seven and eight can skate from 11 a.m. until 12 noon. From 12:30 until 1:30 p.m., nine and ten year olds can take to the ice. Those between 11 and 14 will have the chance to skate from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m., and from 4:30 until 5:30 p.m., skaters 15 and older will have their turn on the ice.

Also of note, the North Peace Leisure Pool will be closed this Saturday from 6 a.m. until 5 p.m., and again on Sunday from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. This is to accommodate the Stingrays Regional Swim Meet. The pool will re-open to the public after the meet.
