Dreher had a fantastic start to the round as she birdied two of the first four holes in the front nine to sit at two under. A bogey on the sixth cost her a stroke, but she completed the front nine shooting a 35.

She unfortunately dropped back to even par with a bogey on the tenth, however it was smooth sailing the rest of the way with pars on holes 11 through 18.

She managed to connect on 12 out of 14 fairways, and was a very respectable 14 of 18 in hitting the greens in regulation.

About half the field has yet to tee off, but Dreher currently sits as the top Canadian on the leaderboard.
