Weekend rainfall helps pass Fort St. John July average

The local area norm for July, which is the month with the highest Fort St. John precipitation average, is 83.2 millimetres.

This year we’ve already recorded more than three and a half times as much rain as we did in July of last year, when the total was only 22.1 millimetres. We’ve also nearly doubled, in the last two months, the amount we recorded in June and July of last year.

201.9 is the total this year, as compared to just 106.6 in 2012,which of course followed a record total of 321 in June and July of 2011.
