Schedule for rural town hall meetings released

Electoral Area Directors will lead the conversation, which was spurred by public opposition over the new building bylaw that requires building permits for construction in all areas of the Regional District.

“Rural area residents want to talk about the revised Building Bylaw, and the Directors also want to hear about other matters that are important to rural communities,” says Board Chair Karen Goodings. “The intent of these conversations is to listen, share information and continue to increase the Boards relationship with our rural constituents.”
