Property taxes and homeowner grants due today

At this point, it’s best for taxes to be paid at City Hall directly, as paying through a bank often takes a day or two to process, and the payment must be in the City’s account by the due date. 

Today is also the last day to file for homeowner grants, which can also be sent in by email or fax. Deputy Treasurer Shirley Collington advises that even if a homeowner can’t afford to pay their taxes today, they should still submit their homeowner grant application on time.
