The shots were fired through the main entrance of the complex inside the building. The occupant of the suite was asleep at the time, and not harmed in the incident.
The shooting is similar to the one less than a week ago, on July 15 when RCMP responded to shots being fired within the complex. At that time, officers again found shell casings on the ground, and the smell of pepper spray upon arrival. The incident also happened around 4 a.m.
Police are continuing to investigate and will present more details if they become available.
