Fort St. John male charged in Grande Prairie armed robbery

RCMP says a male entered the convenience store at 12:45 a.m. the morning of Sunday, July 7. He was reportedly brandishing a knife and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police were able to find the silver Ford Focus with a licence plate number matching the clerk’s description later at 5 a.m. and determined its male occupant was responsible for the armed robbery.

Lemke appeared in court on Monday, July 8.
