Fort Nelson gets Telus 4G LTE coverage

Telus says 4G LTE is a more advanced and faster wireless technology, and it has already been rolled out to nearly 90 per cent of the province.

“Telus’ expansion of our 4G LTE network to Fort Nelson will bring Internet speeds as fast as what customers experience at home to their cell phone, tablet or Internet key while on the move,” says Lance MacDonald, General Manager for Northern British Columbia. “Our 4G LTE network will cover the downtown city core of Fort Nelson and the gas fields, allowing residents to stay connected to the online world with the latest smartphones.”

More cities are planned for expansion by the end of the year.
