However, the value of the properties sold is up on a year-over-year basis to nearly $580 million as compared to just over $566 million last year. 

Of the fifteen communities listed by the board, Fort St. John continues to have the highest average residential detached house selling price at $377,700. That’s about $40,000 more than Fort Nelson and they are the only two communities over $260,000. 

On a year-over-year basis, the June 30th price in Fort St. John was up $29,000 over last year, and $67,000 more than in 2011.
