RCMP warn against shooting road signs

Corporal Jodi Shelkie notes that one of the safety rules governing firearm use is to shoot only if you are certain of the background behind your target. Since signs are usually in line vehicles, houses or buildings, there is a high risk any one of these can be hit with a stray bullet. There is also the risk of a person or animal being shot.

It’s asked that you take advantage of firearms facilities when shooting firearms you may own.
