NEAT wins Recycling Council Non-Profit award

The award was voted on by members of the RCBC board, NEAT’s work initiating recycling services in the Peace River Regional District and the Northern Rockies Regional Municipality was a big part of its win.

Program Coordinator Karen Mason-Bennett says the award helps validate what NEAT is doing in northeast B.C. communities.

“Any time we, as an organization, are recognized for the work we are doing on a provincial level, that’s a big compliment. We are highly invested in the communities we work in, and the Mobi Award affirms the work we are doing has value both locally and beyond, which is great.”

The RCBC “Mobi” Award was presented to the team at the RCBC Gala Dinner in Whistler in May.
